If you want an amazing dinner, go to Allium! Part of the fun is going there by ferry from Anacortes, but most of the fun is eating the amazing food from Allium. When I went there, I had Chef Lisa Nakamura’s beautiful carrot and ginger soup, followed by gnocchi with bacon, asparagus, and parmesan. For dessert, I had a chocolate creme brulee that was so good it made me cry. This restaurant is not a kid restaurant, it doesn’t have a kid menu, but kids would enjoy it as much as any adult would, if you’re not counting on coloring a placemat with crayons. Ok, universe: everyone drop what you’re doing and go to Allium!
