Homemade Trail Mix

IMG_0670IMG_0667

This weekend my dad is going to Alaska on an annual fishing trip with my uncles, two of my little cousins (we take turns going on the trip), my grandpa, and some of their friends so I decided to send him with a little snack so no one gets hungry while they are on the water. I decided to make trail mix because there is a lot of variety so the snack won’t get boring and it is fun to make in general.

To make this recipe you will need:
Peanuts (if you are allergic you can
substitute with another nut or seed you like)
Cashews
Pumpkin Seeds
Sunflower Seeds
A  mixture of golden and original raisins
Butterscotch chips
Dark Chocolate Chips (or you can use milk chocolate)
White Chocolate Chips
M&Ms

I did not include measurements because everything is to taste so you can add as much or as little of everything. You can also add things to it that I didn’t put in the recipe like shaved coconut or dried fruit.

This is a great trail mix for bringing on road trips, hiking, camping, fishing of course, plane trips, and sporting events. Just put it in a little bag or a resealable container. Enjoy!

Please feel free to comment if you have any questions or recommendations for a dish that you would like me to make or a restaurant you would like me to go to!
