4th of July Dip

This is an easy recipe for all kids and adults, for that matter, if they know how to chop vegetables. This is my grandpa’s recipe for a fun tangy dip and I am going to share it with you all. You will need:

  •  a bunch of green onions.
  • 2 roma tomatoes (or 1 beefsteak tomato).
  • 12 a sweet walla walla onion.
  • fresh cilantro. 
  • 1 bottle of Kraft zesty Italian salad dressing.
  • 1 can of black beans. 
  • 1 can of hominy
  • 1 jar of medium salsa.

Chop your 1/2 an onion, green onions, tomato and cilantro. Set aside and put your zesty Italian in a medium bowl. Then open the hominy and black beans put a strainer over the sink and separately dump hominy and beans on the strainer and rinse under hot water until it runs clear. Add to your dip bowl then put the salsa in and add your tomato, onion, green onions and cilantro. Stir, then enjoy!
